Game 1: Cole Harbour @ Brandon
The home side kicked off the scoring very early as Dawson Mercer scored only 24 seconds into the game. The Butchers tied up the game at the 8:00 mark with Blake Coleman serving the second half of a double minor with Kris Letang scoring the first goal of the season for the visiting team. Jeff Skinner potted a pair of goals late in the period and the teams went to the locker room with a 3-1 score in favour of the Moose. Newcomer Joel Eriksson Ek potted another PP goal for the visitors and Ryan Donato was able to tie the score at 3 five minutes into the period. The score stayed tied until Michael Amadio scored at 19:12 of the third to send the fans home happy and save the teams from going to OT.
Final Score: Cole Harbour 3 (42 shots, 7 IR against Jake Oettinger) @ Brandon 4 (28 shots, 4 IR against James Reimer)
Game 2: Brandon @ Cole Harbour
The Butchers came out strong in this one with 5 quality chances in the first 10 minutes of the game, but Oettinger was equal to the task. The Moose got goals from Jeff Skinner and Steven Stamkos and went to the first intermission up 2-0. Matty Beniers scored his first career goal for the Moose in the second period and that was more than enough for Oettinger. He was able to close out the clean sheet.
Final score: Brandon 3 (41 shots, 9 IR against Reimer) @ Cole Harbour 0 (41 shots, 9 IR)

Was a good set only 2 fc shots in 2 games so changes made desired effect The average number of FC chances each game should be 5.0, with 2.5 FC shots. So this checks!
