In the history of the Oxford/Schreiber, here are what I think are the best picks I've made, one for each round. Trophies indicate cup wins for that player.
5th Round - Trevor Moore (62nd Pick 2019) 🏆🏆
4th Round - Josh Anderson (52nd Pick 2016) 🏆🏆
3rd Round - Brayden McNabb (36th pick 2013) 🏆🏆🏆🏆
2nd Round - Ben Bishop (18th pick 2013)
1st Round - Tuukka Rask (4th pick 2011) 🏆🏆🏆🏆
What are yours?

Since I'm stuck home fighting COVID and dozing in and out of consciousness, here's what I came up with for my moments of glory.
5th round - Ben Scrivens (2012 #59) What can I say, only 5th rounder to play games for me (although that will change this season)
4th round - Philip Grubauer (2014 #46) Depending on the season, either my #1 keeper or unplayable.
3rd round - Alexander Georgiev (2018 #31) Has turned those rookie flashes of brilliance into a dependable starter. Wanted to go with the the Captain of my Cup winning team, Stephen Johns, as my choice here but couldn't justify it statistically.
2nd round - Elias Lindholm (2014 #18) This was a tough choice as I've gotten a lot of meat out of this round but I went with Lindy ahead of Kevin Fiala (2017 #20 - as part of a back to back pick with Nick Schmaltz). Slightly more balanced production and has been used to close games out from a winning position.
1st round - Cale Makar (2020 #1) One of two #1s I've had and while statically not my greatest contributor (yet) I expect he soon will be.

3rd round - Tristan Jarry (35 OA in 2018) Sean Avery is probably my HM. Shows that I don't draft in the 3rd round, or later for that matter.
2nd round - Troy Terry (# 16 OA in 2019) HM: Joel Eriksson-Ek (#17 OA in 2017)
1st round - Zach Bogosian (#3 in 2009) HM: David Pastrnak (#7 in 2015)

As you have likely seen, it is rare for me to have more than a couple picks each year. Even during the rebuild I traded picks away.
So, this is from my memory but here goes: 5th round: Anyone with a card. Latest player who actually seems like he might stick around: Colin Blackwell
4th round: Brandon Tanev. Great pick for the amount of production he has given despite injuries in several seasons. Honourable mention to Tim Thomas but he popped after I traded him away, though I got a second round pick back for him. Props as well to Pat Maroon who has won three Stanley cups in a row. Also drafted in the fourth.
3rd round: Brad Marchand. Here is where things went from good to great. Can't think of many other players with as much impact for my team in the game.
2nd round: While Ilya Sorokin should be here, I did also pick up Matt Grzlyck here and he has been on my team far longer and in a surprisingly decent role all this time.
1st round: Tied between Ekblad and Gaudreau. Skipped on Draisatl and Pastrnak in the same draft but both of those players led me to win a championship shortly after drafting them.

This seemed like a fun thought exercise, it is shocking to me how few of my draft picks have lasted long on my team...
Of note, I have been in the league now for 13 years and I have made 10 first round selections, 9 seconds, 9 thirds, 7 fourths and 10 fifths... yuck.
Here is what I came up with for my best picks:
5th round: Tyler Motte, selected 57th overall in 2017. A consistent contributor to the team he has filled in on my third and fourth line every year since his initial selection. (HM to Jordie Benn in 2013)
4th round: Mats Zuccarello, selected 38th overall in 2011 he has gone on to have a pretty reasonable career, even spending time on the top lines in NY and MIN. (HM to Justin Braun in 2011 also, might be the best set of fourth round selections in a single year!)
3rd round: Tyson Barrie, selected 26th overall in 2012. Strong on the PP, weak on defense, kind of like Erik Karlsson, but a lot worse. (No one else even worth mentioning, the third round has not been great for me...)
2nd round: I have not made a second round selection since 2016 when I hit gold with Connor Hellebuyck (should have traded Murray instead of him... whoops). (HM to Cam Atkinson in 2012)
1st round: The easy pick here is McDavid, but I am going to say Mark Scheifele, selected 8th overall in 2014. I almost traded up to #2 to select him, but he fell to me anyways. (HM to Adam Fox in 2020)

interesting exercise:
Round 5 - I have actually had some really good role players here (Wagner, Carpenter,) but best pick is likely Logan O'Connor- 49th overall 2020 Round 4 - Tomas Nosek - picked him up as a free agent pick and he has played well for me - 42nd overall 2021 Round 3 - lots of depth defenseman here. looks like the best will end up being Ryan Lindgren - 27th overall 2020 Round 2 - i thought this was going to be Cirelli, but after discussing his stats with another manager it would actually be Travis Konecny - 22nd overall 2017 Round 1 - best first round pick for me was my actual first ever pick - Shea Theodore. After watching him play in the WJC i knew I wanted him on my team. I remember getting a lot of surprised looks when i picked him too - 13th overall 2016

This is tough for me. I've been at it for 18 seasons in the NNHL. 9 of the 18 I haven't had a 1st round pick. 10 of the 18 no 2nd. and 4 of the 18 (soon to be 5 of 19) I've had no picks at all. I go as far back as actually having 6th round picks. After looking at the players chosen for these lists, I noted that I am over 60% in each round for good vs bust selections. My worst round oddly, is the 2nd.
6th Round: Dale Weise and Laurent Broissot stand out as my best 2 picks. Thomas Nosek also makes the cut. Shamrockville style Paul Bissonnette also hails from the 6th round.
5th Round: Riley Smith and Franz Nielsen stand out. Shamrockville favorite Matt Martin was also a 5th.
4th Round: Alex Burrows and Trevor van Reimsdyk were 4th rnd picks. Shamrockville style Mason Marchment and Brooks Laich hail from the 4th rnd as well.
3rd Round: Tough choices here, but we'll go with Jeff Petry and Anders Lee. Artem Zub, Sean Kuraly and Mattias Samuelsson all fill the truculent Shamrockville style here.
2nd Round: Evan Bouchard, Brandon Carlo and Travis Sanheim are all 2nd round choices. Rasmus Ristolainen fills the hard hitting role of the Shamrockville style player here.
1st Round: Of course the living legend Jason Spezza lands in my top #1 spot. Mikko Rantanen and Carey Price also vie for 1st round nods and Matthew Tkachuk is the best of the Shamrockville style players I've selected in the 1st.

Does the expansion draft count? If so, Elias Pettersson is a lock as best first rounder in, like, ever. If we're sticking to entry drafts, let me wait until this year's entry draft and I'll get OWEN POWER back to you.

I'm sorry, you'll be picking 12th. Don't bother checking. I wrote the rules and if I say it's there it either is there or it will be.
