Change the rule so that if the Breakaway does not result in an automatic goal the defender rolls on the goalie's card to determine what the continuation of play is and applies the results as if it was a normal, out of range shot.

As I had stated earlier, I don't particularly feel that we need to change how it's handled. A faceoff gives you a random player result, just like the golaie matrix does,no need to start messing with rules that occur rarely to start and were originally added for flavor, not as a means to skew results.

Would it be easier to say that if a goal is not scored on a breakaway/penalty shot, treat is an an "F" result instead of a "#" result? I believe in the NHL that when a save is made on a penalty shot, the faceoff afterward is in the goalie's defensive zone (after a goal it would be at centre ice like normal).
