In what should have been a lopsided battle - it was the Mammoths taking the boots to the dirty Englishmen.
Revelstoke 2 @ Chelsea 2 In a surprising goaltending battle, both Sorokin and Greiss stopped 5 of 7 scoring changes, and it was only sheer luck that the Daggers didn't allow more in, as they were outshot in their own rink, 40 - 29. Marchand was dominant, taking 8 shots and scoring both goals for the Mammoths, while the Chelsea forwards were fairly anemic and had to rely on their dmen to generate offence for them.
Chelsea 2 @ Revelstoke 4 The Mammoths went with accuracy on the powerplay instead of quantity of shots, potting 3 goals (2 powerplay) in 6 shots in the first period. Bjorkstrand played the goat, as he was in the box for the two powerplay markers. While Chelsea took 28 shots, only 3 were of high danger variety, 2 getting by Sorokin, including a powerplay marker of their own in the 3rd period. Brandon Tanev put the game out of reach shortly after, killing any chance of a comeback.
Revelstoke takes 3 of a possible 4 points out of the series, for the first time this season, likely due to superior coaching for also the first time this season.
Revelstoke finish the season at 3-12-1-2, for a whopping 9 points.
