Revelstoke 2 @ Brooks 3 A see-saw affair, with several lead changes, but with Shesterkin holding the fort vs the Mammoths attack. The first period saw 10 shots from each team, and no scoring. Ekblad finally opened the scoring for the Mammoths on a powerplay, with Hampus Lindholm's first of many penalties through the series.
Tatar and Kirill the Thrill responded for the Mighty Bears before the end of the second, in another fairly evenly played period, with both teams having 3 quality chances on net.
The third period saw a lot more accuracy from Revelstoke, with four high danger scoring chances, but Shesterkin stole the show, allowing only Marchand the tying goal, before Matt Duchene put the team on his back and scored the game winner for Brooks.
Brooks 6 @ Revelstoke 0 Vezina calibre performance from Bobrovsky, allowing no goals on 6 quality chances, while penalty trouble led to three powerplay goals by the Mighty Bears. Kirill Kaprizov, seeing Marchand trying to kiss people while penalty killing, got excited, and scored three goals while trying to catch Marchand for a smooch. Tatar, Hague, and Duchene were the other goalscorers for Brooks, while no one on the Mammoths was really worth their salary. In his last appearance in net for the Mammoths for the season, Josef Korenar managed to stop only one quality chance of the 7 against. As per previous games, goaltending worthy of interpretive dance.
Revelstoke now sits at 2-8.
