While we're discussing other aspects of the game, I'd like to see some discussion around possible coaching strategies (games) that we could use in different situations. Was thinking that games should have a positive and negative effect for the teams calling it that roughly balance out. Positive effects could be things like additional forecheckers, intimidation factors, bonuses to shot numbers, calculated defense, etc. Negative effects could be less forechecking, less intimidation factors, less defence, breakaway/power play shots, fatigue impacts.
Early thoughts are: - Defensive Shell: -1 forechecker, +1 calculated defense
- Left Wing Lock: no forechecking, -1 passing (P1 autofails), +1 calculated defense, +1 bar (intimidation factor)
- Pressure O: +1 forechecking, -1 calculated defense
- Desperation: +1 forechecking, +1 N (7 becomes an 8), -1 calculated defence, each TS (tick) counts as two
