The following changes have been made to the ratings for 2024:
The following rule changes accompany the ratings changes:
- Only forwards may be PK Ace and PP Ace
- Clearing rating may now be up to +2 higher and -2 lower than Defense rating.
- A small number of forwards may be rated B.
- The underlying stats for Forechecking have been updated.
- The underlying stats for Clearing have been updated.
- Position determination now heavily weighted to sources that update frequently.
The following rule changes accompany the ratings changes:
- PK Ace simplified to add +1 to calculated defense for each PK Ace, maximum +2.
- The maximum number of B that count for blocking is 2.
