So I've decided that we'll never get everyone to agree on a challenger to the stack so we're going to do one pre-vote of any number of options. If any one of those rule options receives a majority of the votes cast we'll put that one up against the stack. Otherwise, no vote against the stack. Doing that without a runoff will be a guarantee that the stack remains. At least let the two people who had popular ideas get together and pick a consensus between them. This season isn't even finished yet, right? AGM's a long time away.

Because I believe in the goalie cards I think the rule for 2024-25 should be start any goalie you want until all of his available games are used up.
In this way I believe I align with Daniel and Arron.

There will be an initial vote and the one with the majority in that vote will go against the stack. You can always arrange amongst the GMs what will be the initial proposals prior to what goes against the stack.

Right, and if there are a wide variety of options no one will get a majority, it'll almost certainly result in no proposal getting a majority. Heck, we had two proposals last year and we couldn't even get a majority. It'll be plurality all the way. So I would ask anyone in the league: before submitting a proposal for a replacement to the stack, talk to Stephen and I. We need to have a united alternative that we know owners will say "yes, if the choice is this or a stack, let's have this". If you all want to have a forum in advance, email me and we'll get an email group together. alphalackey@gmail.com in case you forget

There were three alternatives last year, but we didn't do a pre-vote. So if we had, there would have been two options that faced off and then the winner would have gone against the incumbent.
As I said, people can always align behind a solution prior to the pre-vote, you just need to organize. I'm fine if you have an alternative, please voice it.
Perhaps we can pick this up again when Stephen releases the goalie ratings.

What do you mean I keep bringing this up? Daniel you are the one who harps on it every year and you started the thread.
I would also suggest that if anyone in the league, before submitting a proposal for a replacement to the stack, talk to me.
