I'm not sure I have a bold prediction, but I was thoroughly disappointed by Game 6 Vegas v Dallas. Dallas didn't put up a fight after two games making me wonder whether they could take the series.

1. Tkachuk get's held scoreless in the first 2 games. 2. 4 of the 6 games will go to OT 3. Panthers win in 6.

Well I was close. Tkachuk finally broke through with a goal in garbage time. I also don't think they have a snowballs chance in hell of winning in 6 now either.
Watched the replays of the Barbashev and Tkachuk hits a bunch. Thought both were completely legal tbh. NHL really has to do something about guys who duck and skate into hits really low. You can't not hit them, and the point of contact will almost certainly contain the head, but that's gaming the rule IMO.
Gudas looked to be the one initiating contact and impeding Barbashev's route to the puck. He also was so low that the only thing he COULD hit Barbashev with was his head.
Tkachuk's was a clean shoulder down check through the middle of the ice. Thankfully Eichel wasn't hurt, but he wasn't braced well for that impact, you can see him really flinching and turning trying to take that hit on the shoudler.
Florida's been unlucky so far, but I am not sure they can ramp it up enough to finish the missed opportunities they are leaving on the table either.

While I am glad that Vegas is winning, as i would prefer to see them win instead of Florida, what the Panthers need to do is get there heads out of their own asses and play hockey, instead of this I am bigger and tougher than you bullshit they are trying to pull after every single whistle in starting scrums.
The refs in both games made it perfectly clear they were going to start pulling guys out of the piles and that is exactly what they did. Tkachuk has been the absolute worst for it. you have already been given 2 10 already in the basically last game you have played and after getting separated by the refs from one scrum you immediately skate over and introduce yourself to another scrum by grabbing an already engaged player by the head from behind. exactly what do you think is going to happen? they are playing like idiots.
You cant win a series when your #1 scorer has taken 30 minutes in misconducts in 2 games. sure it boils down to like 20 minutes really but you just cant do that to your team.

From ESPN today....The Panthers are outplaying the Knights, just not getting any puck luck.
"While the screens were an issue, so was the fact the Panthers struggled to capitalize on the scoring chances they did have against the Golden Knights. Natural Stat Trick's data reveals the Panthers had a combined second-and third-period shot-share of more than 66 percent which means the Panthers were controlling possession in 5-on-5 play.
They finished with seven more scoring chances in 5-on-5 play than the Golden Knights while having 13 high-danger scoring chances, according to Natural Stat Trick. The Panthers also had the same number of power-play chances as the Knights -- four -- but could not score whereas two of the Golden Knights goals came with the extra-skater advantage."

Yeah, "Bob or Bust" came through. Yikes. I can only assume Bobrovsky asked to be kept in the whole game, because otherwise, Maurice is just cold

yeah i was surprised by that as well. i thought overall he played decent enough but was a bit surprised they didn't try starting Lyon in the 3rd for an extra spark.

The McDavid vs Eichel debate just got more interesting.

The McDavid vs Eichel debate just got more interesting. Eh, a clearly better player on a clearly worse team. Not interesting to me. Any metric which thinks Dale Hawerchuk is a worse player than Joey Kocur is a metric beyond worthless.
